Chinese Ambassador to Ghana H.E. Madam Sun Baohong Briefs the New Patriotic Party of Ghana about the 19th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party

On November 27, 2017, Chinese Ambassador to Ghana H.E. Mdm. Sun baohong attended the policy dialogue meeting of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the ruling party of Ghana and delivered a speech. Acting General Secretary of NPP John Boadu, National Nasara Coordinator, National Youth Leader, Policy Advisor, Director of International Affairs, Head of Finance Department, Director of Protocol Department, Director of Information Department, Director of Media Affairs, as well as Political Counselor Jiang Zhouteng and Director of the Political Department of the Embassy Miss Lou Danzhu also attended the dialogue meeting.

Ambassador Sun introduced the major achievements and historical significance of the 19th National Congress of the CPC in line with the report delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the Congress and reflected upon the three historical leaps the CPC led the Chinese people from standing up, getting rich and becoming stronger. Ambassador Sun elaborated on why the CPC could unite and lead the Chinese people to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation from the angel of party building. Ambassador Sun said that China and Ghana share similar historical experiences and face similar arduous task of national development. The ruling parties of the two countries should continue to strengthen mutual learning, improve their ability to govern, and make greater contribution to building a community with shared future for mankind that is enduring peace, universal security, common prosperity, openness, inclusiveness and beauty. China is ready to continue exchanging with the NPP the experiences of governance and administration of the country.

Acting General Secretary Boadu welcomed Ambassador Sun for her visit and thanked for her introduction of the 19th National Congress of the CPC. He once again extended his warm congratulations on the successful convening of the Congress. Mr. Boadu said that, under the strong leadership of the CPC, the Chinese people have made remarkable achievements in development through unremitting efforts. Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era. The successful experience of China deserves learning by Ghana. NPP is committed to the development of the country and will unceasingly improve its ability to govern and raise its level of governing and administering the country. The NPP thanks the CPC for its support and is willing to further enhance the exchange of experiences between the two governing parties, increase personnel exchanges and achieve a common progress.
